University of Canberra is seeking a part-time Clinical Educator for Occupational Therapy (0.7 FTE). The role focuses on developing, implementing and supervising student-led OT services within UC Health Clinics, aligned with learning outcomes and research opportunities.

The position is a 24-month fixed-term contract. Applicants must have current AHPRA registration and strong education and collaboration skills to enhance student learning and client care.

Qualifikationen

• Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in occupational therapy practice.
• Experience supervising or educating students or early-career clinicians.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practice and service delivery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across academic and clinical settings.

Aufgaben

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based clinical education and supervision to students.
• Coordinate student placement activities, including clinic timetabling and client caseloads.
• Collaborate with academic staff to align learning outcomes with curriculum.
• Support development and delivery of student-led occupational therapy services.
• Build relationships with community organisations and healthcare providers.
• Maintain continuity of client care during student placements.
• Facilitate placement opportunities for external universities when appropriate.
• Oversee clinical records, patient databases, and research data with privacy compliance.
