Job summary

Junior Adventures Group is hiring for an Assistant role in our OSHC team at Woollahra Helping Hands. The position offers guaranteed minimum hours (15 per week) with morning and afternoon shifts designed to fit around university timetables, parental responsibilities, or other commitments.

Earn $27–$38 per hour plus super, with extra pay for split shifts. We provide paid training, a supportive team, and opportunities to progress to Coordinator roles within JAG.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for working with children.
• Team player with a willingness to grow in the role.
• Willing to obtain a national police check and a working-with-children check.
• National Child Safety Training completed prior to onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Assist with morning and afternoon OSHC programs for primary school children.
• Supervise and engage children in exciting, age-appropriate activities.
• Support a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all participants.
