Partnering with parents and school communities, at Junior Adventures Group (JAG) our goal is to help today's children navigate their tomorrow by supporting children's development through play in fun, engaging environments. Our Outside School Hours Care service, Dawson ParkOSHClub, is looking for a passionatePermanent Educator to assist the service and provide engaging programs for our primary‑age children. This is a permanent part‑time opportunity offering a minimum of 15 hours per week (guaranteed minimum).

You will work across the service’s Before School Care (Rise Then Shine) shifts of Monday to Friday, 6:45 am to 8:45 am and the services After School Care (Stay and Play Program) shifts of Monday – Friday, 2:15 pm – 5:15 pm. You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too!

About the Role

Working alongside a supportive team, you’ll help create a welcoming and enriching environment for children aged 5‑12 years old. Your role will include:

Facilitating exciting, child‑led activities, including STEM, sports, cooking, arts & crafts – whatever you and the kids love!

Building strong relationships with children, families, and the school community.

Collaborating with a team of skilled Educators to ensure a safe, fun, and engaging program.

You’ll work split shifts Monday – Friday across the services opening hours of:

Morning: 6:30 am – 8:45 am (Rise then Shine Program)

Afternoon: 2:45 pm – 6:00 pm (Stay and Play Program)

School Holidays: 6:00 am – 6:00 pm (Holiday HQ Program)

Who We’re Looking For

No formal experience? No problem! We’ll provide all the training you need. We’re looking for someone who:

  • ✔️ Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact
  • ✔️ Communicates clearly and confidently
  • ✔️ Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role
  • ✔️ Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check
  • ✔️ Must have obtained or are studying towards a relevant Diploma level qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA
  • ✔️ Has Australian work rights
