Job summary

Good Shepherd Lutheran School in Para Vista is seeking enthusiastic OSHC Educators to join the Imagination OSHC team. Flexible casual shifts, engaging activities for children aged 6-12, and a welcoming, safe environment are offered.

You'll plan and run before-school, after-school and vacation care, support children with additional needs, and build positive relationships with students, families and staff, while following school policies.

Qualifications

• A qualification for working with children over preschool age in South Australia.
• Experience with children aged 6–12 years.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Food Handling Training (desirable).
• First Aid in Educational and Child Care Setting (desirable).
• RAN (Responding to Abuse and Neglect) training.
• Demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to develop positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
• Flexibility for casual shifts (morning/afternoon).

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities.
• Support children with additional needs to participate fully in the program.
• Assist with the day-to-day running of before-school, after-school and vacation care.
• Develop positive, professional relationships with children, families, staff, and the broader school community.
• Adhere to the School's policies and procedures, including food handling, child protection, and safety standards.
• Foster an environment where children feel safe, valued, and included, aligned with the School's vision and values.
• Contribute to day-to-day OSHC centre operations and ensure activities align with the School's ethos.
