Unique entry level OSHC Management opportunity within the education sector! Assist in leading a team of Educators with support & training provided. Develop your leadership skills! Our Outside School Hours Care service, Willandra OSHClub, is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary‑age children. This is a permanent part‑time opportunity offering 32.5 hours per week to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators.

You’ll work split shifts, supporting our Monday‑Friday hours: 6:30am‑9:00am (Rise then Shine) and 2:00pm‑6:00pm (Stay and Play). Extra hours are also available during school holidays.

About the role

Get ready for an exciting opportunity to co‑manage a dynamic team of Educators, where you’ll experience the perfect blend of support and leadership growth! You’ll lead a vibrant before and after‑school program at a primary school, guiding children aged 5‑12 through fun and enriching activities. With the backing of a dedicated state‑specific office and the mentorship of regional managers who visit regularly, you’ll be empowered to shine in your role while developing your skills as a leader.   • Develop and facilitate an engaging child‑centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
  • Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
  • Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
  • Manage the day‑to‑day operations of your service including compliance and administration
Who are we looking for?

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:

  • Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact
  • Communicates clearly and confidently
  • Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role
  • Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check
  • Has Australian work rights
  • Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA
