OSHC Assistant Coordinator | Narangba Valley

Our Outside School Hours Care service, Narangba Valley State School Helping Hands, is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children.

This permanent part-time opportunity offers 25 hours per week across split shifts to support the service’s operating hours of Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 8:30am (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:30pm – 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program). You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too!

🌱 About the role

You will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years, with the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.

  • Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
  • Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
  • Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration
