OSHC Assistant Coordinator | Narangba Valley

Partnering with parents and school communities, at Junior Adventures Group (JAG) our goal is to help today's children navigate their tomorrow by supporting children's development through play in fun, engaging environments. Our Outside School Hours Care service, Narangba Valley State School Helping Hands, is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children.

This permanent part-time opportunity offers 25 hours per week across split shifts to support the service’s operating hours of Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 8:30am (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:30pm – 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program). You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too!

You will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years, with the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.

• Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
• Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
• Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
• Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration
