Job summary

TeamKids is hiring a part-time Second in Charge (2IC) to lead delivery of high-quality OSHC care at our Hurstville service. You’ll work split shifts, 7am-9am and 3pm-6pm, Monday to Friday, totaling 25 hours per week.

You’ll be supported by a Director of Service to help you thrive and grow in this leadership role. The ideal candidate is passionate about childcare, with strong communication skills, energy, and a positive can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards) per ACECQA standards.
• Experience in Before and After School Care is helpful but not essential; training provided.
• Confident communicator with children, parents, team and school principals.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and positive attitude; thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Second in Charge (2IC) delivering high-quality care and memorable experiences.
• Lead operational delivery and support the Director of Service to thrive in the role.
• Collaborate with staff, families and school partners to create enriching experiences.
