Job summary

Eastern Eye Centre in Maroubra, NSW is seeking two skilled eye-care professionals to join our fast-paced ophthalmology team. We are offering two roles: one full-time and one part-time, with a focus on Orthoptics, ophthalmic technology, and patient care alongside our six orthoptists and eight ophthalmologists.

The successful candidates will perform clinical assessments and imaging, support intravitreal injections, and contribute to a high standard of patient service.

Qualifications

• Completed B. App. Sc (Orthoptics) / Master of Orthoptics.
• New graduates welcome; full training provided if required.
• Ophthalmic assistants and Optometrists also welcome; training provided.

We are a fast-paced ophthalmology practice in the Pacific Square Centre, Maroubra, looking for 2 articulate friendly Orthoptists to join and complement our group.

We at the Eastern Eye Centre, have been offering exceptional patient care for over 25 years. Our focus is to always provide a superior clinical service within a caring environment. Becoming part of a team of six Orthoptists, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our 8 fabulous Ophthalmologists whilst meeting all the clinical expectations of our patients.

We have the opportunity to offer 2 roles one Full-time and one part time position, the diversity and nature of our practice offers a real opportunity to expand your clinical skills and grow within our practice.

Our practice offers a wide range of sub specialty services including cataract, cornea, oculoplastic, paediatric ophthalmology, adult and paediatric strabismus, medical retina and glaucoma.
