Qualifications

• Qualifications and experience commensurate with the Essential Requirements for the role.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a supervised environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team with an understanding of roles within the healthcare team.
• Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated good organisational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management.
• Evidence of continuing professional development and commitment to self-education.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high quality care and assess/manage orthopaedic surgery patients under supervision.
• Progressively increase independence in patient management under supervision by AMO.
• All patients are under the care of a specialist medical practitioner with clear communication to the responsible clinician.
• Support training requirements with RACGP/RC audience as applicable.
