South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Orthopaedic Ward at Prince of Wales Hospital. You will join an interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centred, high-quality care and to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Recent clinical experience in an Orthopaedic setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team and maintain professional boundaries.
• Proficiency with health information systems.
• Advocacy for person-centred practice and application of evidence-based care.
• Ability to prioritise and organise own workload.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred nursing care within the Orthopaedic Ward.
• Support and supervise other nurses and care staff.
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing practice and evaluate outcomes.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimise patient care.
