Epworth HealthCare in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Registered Nurse to join the Richmond team. You’ll care for patients from admission through to mobilisation, recovery and discharge, across a busy joint replacement service.

Qualifications

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Acute, medical and/or surgical nursing experience
Orthopaedic experience is desirable, but not essential
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Commitment to safe, person-centred care
An interest in developing your Orthopaedic knowledge and skills

Responsibilities

Care for patients from admission and surgery through mobilisation, recovery and discharge
Support a diverse surgical caseload including hip/knee replacements, spinal surgery, shoulder and other upper-limb procedures
Work with experienced teams to promote safe mobility and independence
