Women’s and Children’s Health Network invites applications for an Orthopaedic Fellow to deliver clinical care to orthopaedic inpatients and outpatients under consultant supervision. The role includes teaching, research, and exposure to multiple hospital sites, with on-call coordination and potential fluoroscopy use.

The ideal candidate will hold MBBS with General Registration, 4+ years in a teaching hospital, and demonstrated Orthopaedic expertise.

Qualifikationen

• MBBS or equivalent and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia
• Minimum 4 years' experience as an Intern, Resident Medical Officer, or Registrar in a teaching hospital, with Advanced Trainee experience
• Extensive clinical experience and competence in Orthopaedic Surgery
• Proven experience in teaching, research, and multidisciplinary team-based care

Aufgaben

• Provide professional clinical consultant service to inpatients and outpatients at Women’s and Children’s Hospital
• Ensure patients/families receive adequate information to base treatment decisions and follow-up
• Demonstrate ability to safely and effectively provide surgical services for paediatric patients with minimal co-morbidities
• Contribute to quality management and continuous improvement of practice and service delivery
• Support a positive team culture and safe work environment
