Job summary

Sunshine Coast Council is seeking an Organisational Development professional to partner with leaders across the organisation. You will design and deliver initiatives that strengthen leadership capability, enhance employee experience and foster a thriving workplace culture.

This role focuses on developing inclusive programs, facilitating workshops, and translating insights into practical people solutions that support Council's strategic objectives.

Qualifications

  • Qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Development or equivalent experience.
  • Experience delivering organisational development, learning and capability initiatives.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and collaborate.
  • Strong facilitation skills delivering workshops and learning programs.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset to turn insights into practical solutions.
  • Proven experience managing projects in a dynamic environment.

  • Drive initiatives that strengthen leadership capability, employee performance and organisational effectiveness.
  • Lead diversity, equity and inclusion programs that foster a culture of belonging, respect and opportunity.
  • Deliver cultural learning initiatives, including actions that support Council's Reconciliation Action Plan.
  • Design and facilitate engaging workshops, learning experiences and capability-building programs.
  • Partner with leaders and stakeholders to deliver impactful people and culture outcomes.
  • Research emerging trends and translate insights into innovative workforce and organisational development solutions.
About you

You are a proactive and people-focused Organisational Development professional with a passion for leadership, culture and inclusion. Energised by collaboration, you'll bring fresh thinking, strong facilitation skills and a solutions-focused mindset to deliver programs that empower our people, strengthen performance and help shape the future of Sunshine Coast Council.

  • Qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Development or equivalent experience.
