Central Park Optical in Malvern East is seeking an experienced optometrist to join our independent practice. The role involves conducting comprehensive examinations and diagnosing ocular conditions, with two clinic days and potential Saturdays.

Applicants should be confident working autonomously, delivering outstanding patient care, and hold current AHPRA registration. Orthokeratology and ocular therapeutics endorsement are highly regarded.

An established patient base, scope to use your clinical judgement, and two days that could grow into something more.

Central Park Optical is looking for an experienced optometrist to join our independent practice. Established in 1985, we provide comprehensive care across all ages, with clinical interests spanning children’s vision, contact lenses and ocular health management.

Your role

You’ll conduct comprehensive examinations, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, and prescribe spectacles and contact lenses. At least one day each week, you’ll be the sole optometrist on site, supported by our dispensary team.

We’re looking for someone with clinical experience who is confident working autonomously, communicates clearly and makes patients feel well cared for throughout their visit. You’ll work collaboratively with our small team, bringing a strong commitment to outstanding patient care and personalised service.

Experience in orthokeratology and endorsement in ocular therapeutics would be highly regarded, alongside current AHPRA registration.
