Job summary

PARC Engineering is seeking an established Operations Manager to lead our Victorian operations, delivering projects safely, efficiently and commercially. You will own day-to-day Melbourne branch operations, collaborate with leadership, clients and project teams, and build a high-performing local team.

The role requires a commercially minded leader with proven experience in construction, mining or resources, and the ability to drive performance, grow the business and uphold safety standards

Qualifications

• Experience leading operations in construction/mining/resources sectors.
• Strong financial and commercial awareness.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects or fronts.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Victorian branch.
• Managing and supporting project and site teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Planning and coordinating labour, resources, equipment and subcontractors.
• Managing project performance, budgets, schedules and operational requirements.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Identifying new business and project opportunities within the Victorian market.
• Supporting tendering, estimating and commercial activities.
• Monitoring project costs, productivity and profitability.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, WHS requirements and relevant industry standards.
• Recruiting, developing and managing employees across the Victorian operation.
• Implementing effective systems and processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Providing regular reporting and operational updates to senior management.
• Identifying and resolving operational issues before they impact project delivery.
• Representing PARC Engineering professionally within the Victorian construction, mining and resources sectors.
