The Operations Manager role sits within the Operations department and reports into the Head of Operations. The team is responsible for all operational aspects of the business including Registry, payment calculation and processing, distribution calcs, client onboarding.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the operational processes of the company’s alternative assets offering, ensuring effective management of investors’ portfolios, adherence to regulations, and operational efficiency.

Their diverse operations mean that they have broad administrative requirements across many business facets including :

  • Funds Management – Unlisted Registry, NAV pricing, reconciling multiple fund cash accounts, distribution calculation, forecasting and payments,
  • Investing – Client onboarding, adhering to current AML / KYC requirements and client inquiries.
  • Technology and SAAS – platform administration, payment calculation and processing
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in administering all aspects of the platform via online administration tools
  • Be across all operational aspects of the business and ensure they meets all operational requirements.
  • Train and develop new and existing team members.
  • Manage the resourcing and coverage of team members to deliver and meet SLA’s, volume levels, and client expectations.
  • Ensure all operational tasks have well defined procedures and checklists
  • Analyse internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement
  • Assist clients with any operational queries they may have.
  • Make sure payments are made to and collected from clients and ensure correct communication is sent to clients.
  • Help reconcile bank accounts, prepare regulatory filings and help prepare trust accounts.
Desired Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience in registry, platform or fund administration.
  • About 5+ years of experience would be favourable but other experience will also be considered.
  • Management of staff both onshore and offshore
  • Background in alternative assets and / or understanding of credit and private debt products
