Senior Leadership Role

About Mash. Brewing

MASH. has been brewing beer in the Swan Valley since 2006. We're one of WA's original craft breweries — known for good beer, good food and a no-nonsense, local spirit. Our venue is relaxed, family-friendly and built around quality, consistency and old-fashioned hospitality.

We're now gearing up for our next stage of growth across both our Swan Valley venue and wholesale beer distribution.

We're looking for an Operations Manager who can lead the business operationally, commercially and culturally — and help evolve MASH. into the next chapter.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing the whole business:

Venue operations: Bar, restaurant, service, experience

Brewery & wholesale: Production planning, quality, stock, distribution

Sales & marketing: Growth strategy and execution

People & culture: Hiring, training and leading the team

Finance: Budgets, performance targets, P&L reporting

You'll work closely with the Ownership group and Senior Team to set direction, drive performance and keep MASH's culture real, positive and passionate.

What You'll Be Doing

Overseeing the venue to a high service standard & strong wage/cost control

Leading the Head Brewer, Venue Manager and Sales/Marketing staff

Driving wholesale sales team for growth into bars, pubs and bottle shops

Developing local marketing, promotions & on-site events

Monitoring weekly performance dashboards & monthly P&L

Ensuring liquor licence, food safety & excise compliance

Creating a work environment that retains and grows good people

About You

You'll thrive here if you are:

A leader who leads from the floor, not the office

Commercially sharp — knows numbers and margins, and makes smart calls

Organised and proactive — sees problems before they hit

Familiar with Hospitality and extra points for knowing how a brewery works (production & wholesale)

Strong on people — knows how to get the best from a team

Passionate about beer, community and hospitality culture

Australian work rights are required for this position

Experience Required

Senior management role in hospitality, brewery or FMCG beverage environment

Minimum 2-3 years of Senior management experience in hospitality, brewery or FMCG beverage environment

Proven success managing financial performance (budgets, P&L, labour % etc.)

Comfortable managing multiple departments at once

Key Performance Outcomes

Wholesale sales & account expansion

Gross margin targets met across food, beverage & packaged beer

Labour cost % kept within plan

Strong culture with low turnover & high engagement

What We Offer

Senior leadership role with real influence

Competitive salary + performance-based bonus

Autonomy to shape the next phase of the MASH. story

A supportive ownership group that cares about the brand and the people
