Job summary

Armaguard and Linfox Armaguard Group are seeking a senior operations improvement professional in Sydney to drive analytics-led productivity and service enhancements. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, model ROI, and deliver measurable benefits across the business.

You will partner with Operations, Finance and Commercial teams, design dashboards, and present insights to senior leadership. Strong Excel, Power BI and SQL skills are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to analyse complex business data and extract actionable insights.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with ability to translate insights into decisions.
• Experience leading projects from concept through to realisation and benefits.
• Proficient in analytical tools (Power BI, SQL) and data modelling.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational improvement initiatives from concept to implementation and benefits realisation.
• Analyse operational, financial and service performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Develop business cases, financial models and ROI analyses to support investments.
• Partner with Operations, Finance and Commercial teams to boost productivity and performance.
• Design and maintain dashboards, KPI reporting and performance metrics.
• Drive process standardisation and continuous improvement across functions.
• Manage multiple projects with stakeholder engagement at all levels.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior leaders clearly and commercially.

What does the job look like?

This is a unique opportunity to combine analytical thinking, commercial acumen and project leadership to deliver meaningful operational improvements across the business.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll identify opportunities to improve productivity, optimise costs and enhance service delivery before leading initiatives through implementation and measuring the benefits achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading operational improvement initiatives from concept through to implementation and benefits realisation
• Analysing operational, financial and service performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities
• Developing business cases, financial models and ROI analysis to support investment decisions
• Partnering with Operations, Finance and Commercial teams to improve productivity and business performance
• Designing and maintaining dashboards, KPI reporting and performance metrics
• Driving process standardisation and continuous improvement across operational functions
• Managing multiple improvement projects while engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels
• Presenting insights and recommendations to senior leaders in a clear and commercially focused way

You'll be able to demonstrate:

• Proven experience managing and delivering operational improvement or business transformation projects
• Strong analytical capability with experience interpreting large datasets to support decision making
• Excellent commercial and financial acumen, including experience developing business cases and financial models
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience using Power BI, SQL or similar analytics tools highly regarded
• Outstanding stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• The ability to communicate complex information in a simple and meaningful way
• Experience within logistics, supply chain, field services or other operational environments will be highly regarded
