Job summary

Goodalltransport on the Gold Coast seeks an enthusiastic and organised Operations Assistant to join our transport operations team. This entry-level role focuses on supporting dispatch, coordinating with drivers, customers and fleet movements to ensure smooth operations.

You will assist with daily management, allocate jobs and trailers, monitor movements, liaise on deliveries, and work closely with the team to optimise fleet utilisation. A forklift licence is an advantage.

Operations Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Operations Assistant to join our transport operations team. This is entry level position someone who is interested in learning and passionate about transport.

You will play a key role in supporting our dispatch function, working closely with drivers, customers, and the operations team to ensure the smooth coordination of jobs, trailers, and fleet movements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily management
• Communicate with drivers regarding job allocations and operational requirements
• Allocate jobs, trailers, and equipment as directed, trailer checks
• Monitor truck movements and provide operational support throughout the day
• Liaise with customers regarding deliveries and collections
• Work collaboratively with the operations team to ensure efficient fleet utilisation
• Assist with resolving day-to-day operational issues
