Qualifications

• Certificate III in Health Service Assistance (Operating theatre Technical Support) is required.

• Excellent time management skills to function effectively in a busy perioperative environment.

Job description

We are an acute medical and surgical hospital with 240 beds, conveniently located in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne easily accessible via the Monash Freeway and East Link.

Our services include:

• 10 bed Intensive Care Unit
• 17 bed Coronary Care Unit
• 9 Operating Theatres including a Hybrid Theatre, and Cardiac Catheter Laboratory.

We are seeking experienced Theatre Technicians on a parttimebasis (will consider full time/casual).

About the role

Keyresponsibilities includepreparation ofequipment for a wide range of surgeries, maintaining a clean environment, removal of linen and waste and deliveringhigh quality customer service to a range of people from diverse backgrounds. You mayalso assist in facilitating patient transfers between departments.

You will possess Certificate IIIin Health Service Assistance (Operating theatre Technical Support).

Minimum 6 - 12months experience working in a hospital environment.

Strong customer service focus and excellent interpersonal communication skills.

You must possess excellent time management skills to function effectively in a busy perioperativeenvironment.
