Job summary

Ku-ring-gai Council is seeking a dedicated Groundsperson to maintain outdoor spaces in pristine condition for the community. You will prune trees, plant and fertilise, manage turf, and remove rubbish as part of a team dedicated to sustainable, beautiful environments.

The role offers a 38-hour week with a 9-day fortnight, onsite parking, and access to development opportunities within a supportive team. Closes 05/11/2026.

Qualifications

• Open space maintenance and horticultural maintenance experience
• Construction Induction (White Card) is required or willing to obtain
• First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
• MR Drivers Licence or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Small tree pruning and removal
• Planting, fertilising and weed control
• Turf maintenance including mowing, laying and edging
• Rubbish removal and litter pick up including storm damage clean up
