Job summary

Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation is seeking an OO6 Ranger (Fixed assets) in Maroochydore, QLD to support maintenance programs for infrastructure on parks and forests. You will assist with project planning, procurement, contract administration and project management, and liaise with contractors while updating data in IT systems.

You’ll work with managers to protect natural areas, contribute to long-term sustainability and conservation, and help staff apply IT tools to support

Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation - Maroochydore QLD

Are you passionate about protecting Queensland's natural areas with skills in Infrastructure and Asset Management? We're seeking a motivated and practical individual to join our team as an OO6 Ranger (Fixed assets).


The position will assist with project planning, procurement, contract administration, project management, contractor liaison and other support necessary to implement the QPWS maintenance programs for infrastructure on parks and forests. The position will be required to update data and provide advice to staff on using IT systems that support the maintenance programs.


You will work closely with other managers and staff to make a meaningful impact by contributing to the long-term sustainability and conservation of protected areas, natural and cultural values.
