Job summary

NSW Health's Royal North Shore Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join Ward 8F in Oncology. This temporary full-time role, 38 hours per week, supports chemotherapy, Bone Marrow transplantation, radiotherapy and related oncology care.

Under the guidance of the NUM, CNE and CNC, you will use current clinical knowledge and strong communication to work within a multidisciplinary team. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with Division 1 status with AHPRA.
• Current experience in an acute hospital environment.
• Demonstrated clinical knowledge and problem solving ability.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in an Oncology setting including chemotherapy, Bone Marrow transplantation and radiotherapy support.
• Deliver high-quality patient care within Ward 8F under supervision of NUM, CNE and CNC.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective treatment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with patients and families effectively.
