Job summary

Icon Group is seeking a dedicated Oncology Pharmacy Technician to join the Slade Pharmacy team inside Hollywood Private Hospital in Perth. This full-time role focuses on cancer-care medications and patient access, offering hands-on experience in a specialised oncology setting.

The position requires dispensing experience in Australia, autonomy within a team, and the ability to collaborate with hospital staff. Training will be provided for oncology-specific duties and procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year dispensing experience in an Australian pharmacy.
• Australian working rights, valid for at least 12 months from date of employment.
• The ability to work autonomously in a team environment.
• Dispensary Technician Certificate or equivalent as recognised by the Pharmacy Board of Australia (Desirable).
• Experience in hospital and/or oncology pharmacy (Desirable).
• Experience in pharmacy procurement (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality pharmacy services to hospital staff, patients, and customers.
• Dispensing and supplying medications for hospital and cancer patients.
• Assisting with imprest and pharmacy inventory management.
• Delivering and collecting medications to and from hospital wards.
• Entering patient-specific data into the pharmacy database.
• Assisting with patient account enquiries and resolving issues.
• Liaising with hospital staff and associated personnel.
• Supporting the pharmacy team with general administrative tasks.

About the Role

Hollywood Private Hospital is the largest private hospital in Australia, with over 900 licensed beds and advanced robotic clinical technology. About You

Hospital pharmacy or oncology experience is highly valued but not essential, as full training will be provided to aid your transition into this new space. However, previous experience in pharmacy dispensing is required for a confident start.

Essential requirements:
