Cancer Care Westside Centre in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Oncology Nursing Unit Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our multidisciplinary oncology and haematology team. You will drive high nursing standards, oversee resource management, and ensure adherence to best practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes.
Collaborating with doctors, radiation therapists and nursing staff, you will mentor the team, conduct annual performance reviews, and guide continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in medical oncology nursing.
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience within a healthcare setting, preferably in oncology.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage resources and apply relevant healthcare legislation.
Responsabilités
- Lead the nursing team, providing excellent leadership and maintaining effective communication.
- Ensure high-quality patient care through adherence to current oncology nursing trends and evidence-based practices.
- Manage team performance, conduct annual reviews, and support professional development initiatives.
