Job summary

Coates Hire Operations Pty Limited is seeking an Operations Supervisor based at the Hume Portables branch. You will deliver portable building solutions and lead teams to ensure timely, quality outcomes across customer projects.

This permanent full-time position requires a relevant trade qualification or experience in construction. You will manage logistics, ensure safety compliance, and promote a clean work environment while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Relevant trade qualification or experience in construction, building, or hire equipment.
• Strong site experience with risk assessments and SWMS management.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate projects across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee installation of portable buildings.
• Lead and supervise operational teams for quality outcomes.
• Act as primary onsite contact for customers and manage relationships.
• Coordinate logistics and resources with branch teams.
• Manage site conditions and schedule changes to minimize downtime.
• Lead safety on-site and ensure compliance with HSEQ.
• Complete hire schedules, inspections, and project documentation.
