Job summary

Dash Group Trades & Labour is seeking an experienced OH&S Supervisor / Site Safety Officer for a Melbourne south-eastern construction project. You will manage day-to-day site safety, contractor compliance and maintain a safe working environment across the site.

The role offers full-time casual hours, immediate start, weekly pay and a 4-month assignment with an attractive hourly rate of $50-$60 plus superannuation, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction site safety or OH&S supervision.
• Strong knowledge of Victorian OHS requirements.
• Experience reviewing SWMS and managing high-risk activities.
• Current First Aid Level 2 certification and White Card.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inductions for new workers and subcontractors.
• Review SWMS for compliance and safety controls.
• Complete daily site safety inspections and audits.
• Identify hazards and coordinate corrective actions.
• Monitor high-risk construction activities and ensure safety controls.
• Maintain site safety documentation and compliance records.
• Assist with site amenities, housekeeping and standards, and provide first aid when required.
