Job summary

Drifter Canberra is seeking a Maintenance Assistant / Handyperson to keep our property safe, functional and welcoming for guests and staff alike. You’ll perform painting, repairs, room inspections and coordinate with Front Desk and Housekeeping.

Flexibility is essential due to 24/7 operations; some weekend or after‑hours work may be required. Prior maintenance or handyman experience is valued, with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience within Salesforce eco-system.
• Experience/Exposure with Salesforce Industries including OmniStudio.
• Exposure to OOPs and Apex (Triggers, Controller, Classes) for debugging and managing minor enhancements.
• Hands on experience with version control, branching and metadata deployments.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance tasks such as painting, patching, repairs, and basic carpentry.
• Responding to maintenance requests promptly.
• Supporting preventative maintenance programs.
• Room inspections and fault identification.
• Maintaining tools and equipment.
• Managing supplies.
• Maintaining indoor and outdoor areas.
• Coordinating with Front Desk and Housekeeping.
• Logging tasks and tracking issues.
• Supporting contractors onsite.
