Snowy Hydro is seeking a Technical Officer (Electrical) to join the Snowy 2.0 project team. This on-site role involves active oversight of electrical work fronts, ensuring quality, safety, and alignment with design requirements.

You will be the eyes and ears on the ground, coordinating with contractors and the engineering team to resolve issues promptly. Qualifications include an Electrical Trade background and relevant training, plus strong communication and change management skills.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade background and related training is required.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with diverse groups.
• Willingness to work 100% on-site with FIFO roster.
• Commitment to health, safety and project delivery values.

Responsabilités

• Active Oversight: daily presence at active work fronts to monitor progress and compliance.
• Quality Assurance: collaborate with Quality Engineers to inspect work and ensure IFC compliance.
• Problem Solving: identify issues early and coordinate with engineers to implement solutions.
• Stakeholder Management: build strong relationships with contractors and subcontractors to drive outcomes.
• Documentation: maintain accurate records and site photos using the ACONEX platform.
