Job summary

A data center services company is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for a full-time on-site position in Waterloo, Australia. The role includes performing hardware installations, cabling, and troubleshooting connectivity issues. Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, or similar) preferred.
• Network certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.

Skills

Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single‑mode/multi‑mode fiber)

Professional communication skills in English

Ability to lift 50+ lbs

Tools

Standard tools: screwdrivers, cable testers, label makers, fiber inspection equipment
