Job summary

St Clair Family Dental in New South Wales is seeking a motivated Oral Health Therapist with full adult scope and at least two years of experience to join our friendly team. This casual position covers two days per week, with Saturdays a must, and potential to increase days as the practice grows.

Work with both adult and paediatric patients, focusing on prevention and patient education in a collaborative clinical environment that values high-quality care and infection control.

Qualifications

• Qualified OHT with full adult scope and ability to treat adults independently.
• Current AHPRA registration and active clinical practice.
• Orthodontic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and therapeutic dental care to patients of all ages.
• Perform adult scope treatments including periodontal assessment and therapy.
• Deliver oral health education and preventive care.
• Conduct examinations, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and radiographs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with dentists and the dental team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Oral Health Therapist (OHT) with full adult scope and a minimum of two years experience to join our friendly and supportive dental team. This is a casual position for two days per week with Saturday a must, with opportunities to increase days in the future as the practice continues to grow. This is a great opportunity for an Oral Health Therapist who enjoys working with both adult and paediatric patients, values preventive care, and wants to be part of a collaborative clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality preventive and therapeutic dental care to patients of all ages
• Perform adult scope treatments including periodontal assessment, periodontal therapy, scaling and root planing
• Deliver oral health education and preventive care
• Conduct routine examinations, cleans, fluoride treatments, and radiographs
• Develop individualised oral health treatment plans
• Work collaboratively with dentists and the dental team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical records and patient notes

About you

• Qualified Oral Health Therapist / Dental Hygienist & Therapist
• Full adult scope registration and ability to treat adult patients independently
• Current AHPRA registration
• Strong communication and patient care skills
