Job summary

Powertech is a leading Electrical EPC and Services provider, trusted across Oil & Gas, Mining, Utilities and Defence. We have an exciting opportunity for a Process Control Systems Commissioning Engineer to join Powertech on an Offshore Project.

The role focuses on leading commissioning for DCS/PLC/SCADA systems, performing checks, troubleshooting, and collaborating with instrumentation and electrical teams in a remote offshore environment. Start mid-September with a 6-12 month duration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Control Systems.
• Offshore commissioning experience in offshore oil & gas facilities.
• Current offshore certifications MSIC, BOSIET, ESCAPE-CHUTE, CAEBS.
• Additional control-system vendor certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute commissioning activities for Process Control Systems and related automation equipment.
• Perform system checks, loop checks, functional testing, and interlock testing.
• Coordinate with instrumentation and electrical teams to resolve commissioning issues.
• Provide technical support to operations during plant start-up and performance testing.
