Job summary

Mantel, an Australian-owned IT Professional Services consultancy, seeks an Offensive Security Consultant to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities for enterprise clients. You will conduct penetration tests, analyze security gaps and collaborate with experienced professionals to enhance client security postures.

Ideal candidates will have experience in network/web/mobile tests, familiarity with Burp Suite/Metasploit/Nmap, and strong communication skills to present findings to technical

Qualifications

• Experience running penetration tests for enterprise customers (network, web, mobile).
• Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and web security principles.
• Ability to review application source code to identify security issues in business logic, authentication and data handling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform network, web and mobile penetration tests on client environments.
• Identify vulnerabilities, document findings and remediation steps.
• Produce detailed reports with risk prioritisation and actionable recommendations.
• Communicate findings to clients in clear terms and guide security requirements discussions.
• Stay current with vulnerabilities and security trends; contribute to tooling improvements.
• Collaborate with security engineers and clients across projects and technologies.
