Job summary

humanity Health Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our telehealth team. Conduct virtual assessments, develop personalised treatment plans and deliver evidence-based OT interventions from home.

You will collaborate with families and health professionals to ensure holistic care and regularly update treatment plans based on client progress. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Occupational Therapy, be AHPRA registered, and have strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Experience in telehealth or virtual care is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments and develop individualised treatment plans for clients with a range of physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions via telehealth, including activity analysis, adaptation, and training.
• Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
• Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans to optimise client outcomes.
• Maintain detailed clinical notes and records, ensuring compliance with professional and organisational standards.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.

What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments and develop individualised treatment plans for clients with a range of physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs

What we're looking for

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Experience as an Occupational Therapist, with a strong background in telehealth or virtual care is desirable

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage clients effectively via video conferencing

Proficient in the use of telehealth technology and platforms, with a willingness to embrace innovation

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills, with a client-centered approach

Adaptable and resilient, able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
