Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is offeringPermanent substantive and Bank Band 5 Occupational Therapist roles. The Trust provides a 12‑month Preceptorship Programme across nursing and AHPs, led by a multi-professional team to develop clinical skills, leadership and quality improvement.

Roles include a seven‑day service rotation across three sites. Newly qualified therapists are welcomed and supported; rotations cover Rheumatology, Orthopaedics, Stroke Rehab and more.

Qualifications

• Qualification required: HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with relevant degree.
• Experience in adult acute or community rehab settings is desirable.
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients referred to the team with direct/indirect supervision.
• Participate in staff rotations across three sites and 7-day service.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and student placements.
• Liaise with senior colleagues and MDT members to plan care and caseloads.
