Little Village Therapy in Sutherland is seeking a warm, curious Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. You’ll provide OT across clinic and outreach settings, partnering with families to support meaningful participation for children.

• Must hold or be eligible for AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group-based occupational therapy across clinic, home, preschool and school settings.
• Collaborate with families, educators and other clinicians to develop meaningful goals.
• Unpack cases with mentor and contribute to team knowledge through sharing insights.
• Engage in mentoring, professional development and reflective practice.

Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Little Village Therapy is looking for a warm, curious and collaborative Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing team in Sutherland.

We’re a playful, relationship-focused clinic where therapy happens through connection, curiosity and plenty of movement. Our clinic rooms are called Cloud, Rocket Ship and Jellyfish so this probably isn’t the place for rigid, cookie-cutter therapy.

It is a place for thoughtful clinicians who want to understand the child beneath the behaviour, work alongside families and keep developing their clinical reasoning.

What your days might look like

No two days in the Village are quite the same. You might be:

• Turning a child’s favourite interest into meaningful therapy
• Swinging, climbing and problem-solving in our sensory spaces
• Supporting a child to feel safer and more confident at school
• Coaching a parent through a challenging everyday routine
• Collaborating with educators and other members of a child’s team
• Completing functional assessments and developing meaningful goals
• Running or contributing to one of our group programs
• Sitting down with your mentor to unpack a tricky case
• Sharing ideas, questions and clinical discoveries with the team

You’ll provide individual and group-based occupational therapy across our clinic and, when appropriate, home, preschool and school environments.

About Little Village Therapy

Little Village Therapy is a paediatric occupational therapy clinic in Sutherland.

Our practice is neuroaffirming, trauma-informed and relationship-focused, with our clinical approach informed by Sensory Integration, DIR/Floortime and the PAIR parent-coaching model.

We believe behaviour is communication, relationships are the foundation for change, and children do well when they feel safe, understood and supported.

We also believe it takes a village to support a child and that therapists need a village around them to do their best work.
