About this role

Central Highlands Rural Health are accepting applications for Occupational Therapists to support a designated clinical caseload, appropriate to their level of experience and competency.

Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy service to consumers of all ages, in acute, aged care and community settings as part of the multidisciplinary Allied Health Team.
  • Develop professionally under senior clinicians with relevant clinical supervision and development opportunities based on individual experience and learning needs.
  • Support patients and assist them in performing activities of daily living using therapeutic techniques.
Qualifications & Experience

Applicants may be new graduates (Grade 1) Occupational Therapists and may be eligible for Victorian State Government grants of up to $15,000 to support final year speech pathology and occupational therapy students to work in rural and regional Victoria following their graduation.

All appointments to Central Highlands Rural Health are subject to a satisfactory clearance of a National Police Check. Successful applicants will be required to provide evidence of an immunisation assessment prior to commencement. Evidence of flu vaccination mandatory.

Central Highlands Rural Health (CHRH) is a rural health organisation that operates five campuses across Hepburn Shire and the Macedon Ranges in the Central Highlands of Victoria in Australia, north and north‑west of Melbourne. It was formed through the voluntary amalgamation of Hepburn Health Service and Kyneton District Health on 30th November 2019. Each of our campuses retains the name of the township in which they are situated – Clunes Health, Creswick Health, Daylesford Health, Kyneton Health, and Trentham Health.
