Job summary

North and West Remote Health (NWRH) in Townsville is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to deliver OT services across a diverse rural and remote caseload. You will support children, adults and older people to achieve meaningful outcomes and assess functional, cognitive and environmental needs.

We’re open to full-time or part-time arrangements for the right candidate. This is a maternity leave backfill position until January 2028, with Monday to Friday hours and no regular weekend work with potential extension.

The role includes regular outreach travel to surrounding communities, with overnight stays as required depending on service needs. Travel may involve driving or small plane flights, with travel completed during work hours where possible. Any required after-hours travel is supported through time in lieu, and a work vehicle is provided.

• Salary from $82,858 to $105,893 + super (Pro-rata for part-time) based on experience
