Job summary

Healthcarelink Support is seeking Occupational Therapy professionals to join our state-of-the-art Melbourne clinics. You will deliver face-to-face or telehealth therapy, plan sessions, document outcomes, and conduct comprehensive assessments across diverse client groups.

We offer flexible hours (full-time or part-time), with open operating times from 8AM to 8PM on weekdays and 8AM to 6PM on Saturdays, plus generous development opportunities and admin support.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration required.
• Membership with professional body.
• Working with Children Check.
• Victorian Police Check.
• Australian driver's license.
• Experience in your field preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Face-to-face therapy sessions (or telehealth where necessary).
• Planning for therapy sessions.
• Documentation (case notes) of therapy sessions, phone calls and meetings.
• Assessments inc. Sensory Profiles, Assistive Technology, Functional Capacity, Housing (SIL, SDA, ILO) and Home Modifications.
• Team meetings both internally, and with external parties for our participants (Care Team Meetings).
• Creating take-home resources for participants, or their informal supports.
• Evaluating the medical history and the movement and functional abilities of new patients.
• Developing treatment plans based on medical diagnoses.
• Mobilizing and manipulating muscles and joints.
• Providing treatment using OT and rehabilitation equipment.
• Giving patients exercises designed to strengthen and increase their motor abilities.
• Keeping updated patient records detailing all therapy provided (i.e. treatment and results).
• Adjusting plans and prescribing new treatment, where necessary.
• Community based work with travel and seeing various client types across all ages.
