Job summary

SACRUM Therapy Services in Adelaide, South Australia, is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. You will provide person‑centred, evidence‑based assessments and interventions for individuals with disabilities and complex support needs, supporting independence and participation in daily activities.

You will collaborate with NDIS participants, families, support coordinators and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement tailored intervention

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
• Experience working with NDIS participants and people with disability.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
• Knowledge of NDIS funding and assistive technology processes.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional capacity, occupational performance and activities of daily living assessments.
• Develop, implement and review individualised intervention plans to promote independence and participation.
• Assess clients’ needs for assistive technology, equipment and home modifications.
• Support the development of daily living skills, sensory regulation and functional routines.
• Prepare comprehensive assessment and progress reports and other clinical documentation.
• Monitor client progress, evaluate outcomes and adjust treatment plans as required.
• Provide education and practical strategies to families and carers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to coordinate services.
