Job summary

Early Start Australia is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their team in Darwin. You will assess and manage a caseload, develop tailored therapy programs, and deliver services across clinic, home, school, and community settings.

You will collaborate with other health professionals to support children and families, and contribute to group programs and parent workshops while maintaining privacy and current best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with solution-focused therapy and early intervention.
• Ability to adapt services to meet individual needs.
• Strong engagement with children, families and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Capable of working autonomously in community settings.

Responsibilities

• Identify and complete assessments appropriate for each client.
• Manage a discipline-specific caseload with a case management approach.
• Develop, implement and adjust tailored therapy programs.
• Deliver services across clinic, home, school and community settings.
• Collaborate with allied health team for optimal outcomes.
• Provide group therapy and parent workshops when needed.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality and align with best practice.
