Your Family OT in Brisbane is seeking an Early Career Occupational Therapist to join our OT-led practice serving NDIS participants across clinic, home, school and community environments.
This role sits on a four-level career pathway and emphasizes independently managing an appropriate caseload while receiving regular supervision and mentorship from senior clinicians to support ongoing development.
Ready for greater independence, without losing the support that helps you grow?
Your Family OT is an Occupational Therapist-owned and OT-led practice supporting NDIS participants across Brisbane. We have developed a strong referral base across paediatric and adult disability practice, with Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants working across clinic, home, school and community environments.
Following an overwhelming response to our 2027 New Graduate Program, we are excited to be preparing to welcome four new graduate Occupational Therapists to our team next year. As our team continues to grow, we are now looking for an Early Career Occupational Therapist to join us.
This opportunity is designed for an OT who has moved beyond the new graduate stage and is comfortable managing their own caseload, but still values weekly individual supervision, access to experienced clinicians and genuine opportunities to keep developing.
You may not be looking for a Senior OT position yet. You may not be ready, or want, to supervise other clinicians. What you do want is the opportunity to become an excellent independent practitioner, broaden your clinical capability and begin exploring where your career could take you next.
We have formalised a four-level Occupational Therapy career pathway:
New Graduate OT → Early Practitioner OT → Practitioner → Senior OT
This position sits within our Early Practitioner career level. This internal level recognises an Occupational Therapist who can independently manage an appropriate clinical caseload while continuing to develop clinical reasoning, efficiency, confidence and professional capability with regular supervision.
Early Practitioners may earn a $300 monthly KPI incentive for each eligible month in which the applicable KPI and performance requirements are achieved. This provides potential annual KPI incentives of up to $3,600 and potential cash earnings of up to $98,600 plus superannuation.
Progression is not based on billables alone. Clinical quality, documentation, professional conduct, independence, caseload management and capability remain important components of progression within Your Family OT.
You will manage your own caseload of NDIS participants while having regular access to supervision and senior clinical support. Your work may include:
