Job summary

Fairfield City School District is hiring an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year to provide student support services. The successful applicant must hold a valid Ohio OT license and will work closely with special education staff and teachers, attending ETR/IEP meetings and other district meetings as required.

Some lifting of children and district travel may be necessary. Applicants must pass a FBI/BCI background check per district policy.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Ohio Occupational Therapist license.
• Must work collaboratively with special education personnel and classroom teachers.

Will be expected to attend ETR, IEP, and other meetings as set by principals and/or Special Services. May be required to physically lift children. May travel within the District.

Applicants that are offered a position shall be required to submit to an FBI/BCI criminal background check. Failure to satisfactorily pass the criminal background check based upon the discretion of the Board of Education will preclude an individual from employment with the Fairfield City School District.
