As a community-based Occupational Therapist, you will be directly contributing to the community by working with elderly clients in their own home, to ensure their physical needs and goals are met, enabling them to live their best life independently for as long as possible.

As a community Occupational Therapist :
  • Development of individual care plans to achieve personalised functional outcomes
  • Falls prevention, education and strength training work all included in position
  • Collaborate closely with the local community teams and key stakeholders
  • Incorporate a holistic approach to health care that incorporates healthy living activities according to community and organisational priorities
Qualifications and other prerequisites required
  • Currently registered as a Occupational Therapist with AHPRA
  • Prior Community Experience highly desirable
  • Ability to provide high quality treatment and intervention
  • Police Check (dated within the last 3 years)
  • Willing to obtain annual flu vaccinations
  • Evidence of Covid 19 vaccinations
  • Own vehicle and NSW licence
