Procare Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our NSW team, based in Alexandria. You will work with an experienced, supportive group to deliver a range of assessments and case management across various schemes.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to recover and return to pre-injury activities and employment.
• Conduct a range of assessments: Initial, Functional, ADL, Ergonomic, Pre-Employment and Worksite.
• Case management across Workers Compensation, CTP, DVA, Life Insurance and private industry.
• Liaise with health professionals, employers, insurers and other stakeholders to drive outcomes.

Job description

We are seeking a passionate and driven Occupational Therapist to join our expanding NSW team based in our head office in Alexandria. You will be working as part of a highly experienced, knowledgeable and fun team! You will have the opportunity for exposure to a variety of customers, different schemes and varying complexities of cases and career progression.

About You

Occupational Therapist with full AHPRA registration.

You’ll Also Need

• Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
• Desire to work in Occupational Rehabilitation
• Experience conducting ADL assessments (essential)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking & problem solving
• Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude & positive approach; and
• Genuine commitment to continuous improvement.

This is ideally a full time position however part time will be considered. We are also keen to hear from contractors in Metro Sydney and across NSW.

Day To Day You Will Be

• Supporting people to recover and return to pre-injury activities and seek employment using your clinical skills and knowledge
• Conducting a range of different assessment services including: Initial, Functional, Activities of Daily Living, Ergonomic, Pre-Employment and Worksite Assessments
• Case management across various jurisdictions including Workers Compensation, CTP, DVA, Life Insurance and private industry
• Liaison with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.
