Job summary

Procare Group is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our NSW team based at our head office in Alexandria. You will work as part of an experienced, supportive team and have exposure to varied schemes and complex cases with clear career progression.

You will be registered with AHPRA, hold a Police Clearance and Working with Children Check, and bring strong ADL assessment skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative approach to rehabilitation across Workers Compensation, CTP

Qualifications

• Full AHPRA registration is required.
• Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
• Experience conducting ADL assessments is essential.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking & problem solving.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support people to recover and return to pre-injury activities and employment.
• Conduct Initial, Functional, ADL, Ergonomic, Pre-Employment and Worksite assessments.
• Case manage across Workers Compensation, CTP, DVA, Life Insurance and private industry.
• Liaise with health professionals, employers, insurers and other stakeholders to drive positive outcomes.

Job description

We are seeking a passionate and driven Occupational Therapist to join our expanding NSW team based in our head office in Alexandria. You will be working as part of a highly experienced, knowledgeable and fun team! You will have the opportunity for exposure to a variety of customers, different schemes and varying complexities of cases and career progression.

About You

Occupational Therapist with full AHPRA registration.

You’ll Also Need

• Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
• Desire to work in Occupational Rehabilitation
• Experience conducting ADL assessments (essential)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking & problem solving
• Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude & positive approach; and
• Genuine commitment to continuous improvement.

This is ideally a full time position however part time will be considered. We are also keen to hear from contractors in Metro Sydney and across NSW.

Day To Day You Will Be

• Supporting people to recover and return to pre-injury activities and seek employment using your clinical skills and knowledge
• Conducting a range of different assessment services including: Initial, Functional, Activities of Daily Living, Ergonomic, Pre-Employment and Worksite Assessments
• Case management across various jurisdictions including Workers Compensation, CTP, DVA, Life Insurance and private industry
• Liaison with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.
