Job summary

Mindful Health Queensland is seeking a newly graduated Occupational Therapist in Townsville to join our team. This role focuses on helping individuals overcome mental health challenges, supporting daily living, and promoting independence within a supportive, flexible environment.

We offer a competitive hourly rate with annual performance-based bonuses, flexible hours including a 4-day work week option, paid training, two mental health days per year, and an Employee Assistance Program to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current registration with AHPRA.
• NDIS workers screening test, National Police Check, Working with Children Check (WWC).
• Right to Work in Australia.
• Current Driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• As an Occupational Therapist, assess and support individuals with disabilities, helping them enhance daily living skills and independence.
• You'll collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams to set personalised goals, prescribe adaptive equipment, and make recommendations based on participants' needs.
• You'll provide education, maintain accurate records, and advocate for client rights while ensuring ethical, high-quality care.
