Ability Action Australia is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a flexible community role covering the Ballina, Byron, and Lismore Regions. The role offers full-time or part-time options with AAA home hub based in Ashmore, QLD, and a mix of home and community-based work.

You will manage caseloads aligned with your interests, perform comprehensive assessments, set individualized therapy goals, and recommend Assistive Technology to promote independence while ensuring compliance with NDIS

Responsabilités

• Managing a caseload that aligns with your areas of interest
• Conducting clinical assessments across emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical functions
• Developing individualised, evidence-based therapy goals and interventions
• Providing environmental modification advice for homes, schools, workplaces and residential settings
• Recommending and facilitating Assistive Technology (AT) to promote independence
• Staying compliant with current legislation and NDIS guidelines
• Working collaboratively within a supportive, multidisciplinary team
