Job summary

ForHealth is seeking a qualified Exercise Scientist to join the Occupational Health team in Marrickville on a full-time basis. The role involves on-site medical screening, functional assessments, drug and alcohol testing, spirometry, ECGs and audiometry, plus admin duties to support client services.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality occupational health services to workers and corporate clients, fostering strong relationships and continuous improvement in

Qualifications

• Qualified Exercise Scientist or Exercise Physiologist as required.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional and clinical standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite occupational health and medical screening services.
• Complete functional capacity assessments.
• Perform drug and alcohol screening, spirometry, ECGs, and audiometry.
• Support injury prevention and workplace health initiatives.
• Coordinate GP correspondence and follow-up per client requirements.
• Arrange medical appointments for injured workers and liaise with stakeholders.
• Review assessment results and provide high-quality client reports.
• Assist with pre-employment medicals and health assessments.
• Maintain assessment rooms, equipment and stock levels.
• Complete administrative documentation per accreditation.
• Record onsite service delivery for billing.
• Travel to client sites as required.
• Promote safe work practices and report hazards.
