A leading mining company is seeking an Occupational Health & Rehabilitation Superintendent at the Aquila Mine in Middlemount, QLD. This full-time position focuses on managing injury management processes, workplace health initiatives, and ensuring compliance with health standards. Ideal candidates have a tertiary qualification in Health Sciences and a strong background in Occupational Health & Hygiene, along with leadership experience. We have an exciting opportunity based at award-winning Aquila Mine based in Middlemount, QLD to join a technology focused operation with a keen eye for improvement and a purpose‑led, high performing culture within the site safety and health function.
The Occupational Health & Rehabilitation Superintendent, reporting to the Safety and Health Manager, will execute occupational health processes, focused on injury management and worker rehabilitation, fitness for work, health surveillance and medical screening, wellbeing and develop and implement key programs toward injury prevention to achieve zero harm.
